As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of a team that deploys and operates our private cloud services for critical customers in Australia. Working collaboratively, you will navigate through ambiguity to define and guide cross‑functional programs in large work groups that span multiple teams and stakeholder groups. Your role will play a big role in seeing the “bigger picture”, and guiding long‑term objectives as well as near‑to‑near be helping.
Driving consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale within your work scope you will manage activities to maximize operational and capability returns.
You will deliver planning, communications, execution, continuous improvement, organizational change, stakeholder management skills and be able to apply these skills in difficult situations. You will break down programs and processes into components that could be executed by less executive team members.
