Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager for the BaND team to lead prototype engagements and deployment of new hardware technologies in APAC data centers. You’ll drive cross-functional programs with Networking, Design, Capacity Planning, and Supply Chain, delivering production-ready deployment plans and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
• Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of builds, bricks and network deployment programs across all phases
• Partner with networking engineers, design engineers, capacity planners, supply chain, and vendor teams to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver against committed timelines.
• Develop and maintain program schedules; proactively identify risks, define path-to-green plans, and escalation appropriately to protect delivery commitments.
• Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership, communicating milestones, deviations, and trade-offs with clarity.
• Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects, making informed trade-offs between time, scope, and cost.
• Identify and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements to streamline deployment workflows and improve on-time delivery rates.
• Coordinate with internal partners on networking requirements, material delivery, cabling execution, and hardware installation activities.
• Define and track success metrics (SLA compliance, dwell times, on-time delivery). Use data to inform priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Write effective project charters, deployment plans, and operational run books that support repeatable execution.
• Support the introduction of new hardware technologies and deployment processes, from prototype trials through to production-ready operational plans.
