Job summary

Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a passionate Technical Program Manager to lead prototype engagements and the deployment of commercially ready processes for new technology deployments within AWS data centers in APAC.

You will lead programs with partner teams to define prototype deployment trials, strategic planning, and development, and to document operational plans for production deployment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical program management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of brick and network deployment programs across all phases: staging, planning, cabling, build/morpheus, turn-up, and DCO handoff.
• Partner with networking engineers, design engineers, capacity planners, supply chain, and vendor teams to define requirements and deliver against timelines.
• Develop and maintain program schedules; identify risks, define path-to-green plans, and escalate to protect delivery commitments.
• Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership with milestones and trade-offs.
• Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects and make informed trade-offs between time, scope, and cost.
• Identify and implement scalable, data-driven process improvements to streamline deployment workflows.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal partners on material delivery and hardware installation.
• Define and track success metrics (SLA, dwell times, on-time delivery).
• Write program charters, deployment plans, and operational runbooks for repeatable execution.
• Support introduction of new hardware technologies and deployment processes from prototype trials to production.
