We're looking for a proactive and organised Technical Officer to support our Automotive and Engineering programs. This is an opportunity to combine your trade, maintenance, workshop or industry experience in a role offering variety, autonomy and purpose.

This position supports our teaching teams by keeping workshops safe, stocked, compliant and ready for practical delivery. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving practical problems and takes pride in maintaining organised, safe and efficient workshop environments.

If you're someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and working behind the scenes to support others' success, you'll thrive in this role.

Whether you're looking for a career change or bringing years of industry experience into the education sector, we'd love to hear from you.

About You:

You're a practical, solutions focused professional who enjoys taking ownership and working independently. You may come from an engineering, manufacturing, automotive or trade-based background and be looking for a role where your experience can continue to make a difference without the demands of a traditional industry environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to undertake preventative maintenance of machinery
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach and a natural focus on finding practical solutions
