Job summary

Evolve Scientific Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian science and technology organisation in Lucas Heights to recruit a Laboratory Technical Officer. The role is hands-on, supporting preparation and processing of powder and liquid materials for research projects in a collaborative team.

Reporting to an engineering manager, you will operate specialised equipment, record data and follow SOPs. This permanent position offers training, development and exposure to pilot plant

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical/Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory, manufacturing or materials processing experience preferred.
• Exposure to mixing, blending, granulation, batching or powder processing is highly regarded.
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working with equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Understanding of laboratory safety, quality systems and documentation.
• Early-career candidates with relevant practical experience are encouraged to apply.
