Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia is seeking a Technical Lead to steer the design and development of scalable technology solutions within an Agile team. You will work closely with engineering, product and business stakeholders, mentoring developers and championing engineering excellence in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

You will drive technical direction, support team growth, and help shape modern, scalable tech solutions while guiding adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in a senior software engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and processes.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and practices.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and lead engineering teams.
• Commercially minded approach with the ability to deliver business value.
• Strong prioritisation, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production solutions maintain strong uptime, reliability and availability.
