The Technical Lead - Integration manages the integration team, ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and support of software from internal and external development teams.

The Technical Lead - Integration primarily focuses on ensuring that the integration activities meet exit criteria to enable Verification activities of release candidates. They collaborate with feature development teams, site-based personnel, and stakeholders - including verification & validation, project leads and customers—to resolve integration issues and enable verification activities.

About the Role

The Technical Lead - Integration manages the integration team, ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and support of software from internal and external development teams.

The Technical Lead - Integration primarily focuses on ensuring that the integration activities meet exit criteria to enable Verification activities of release candidates. They collaborate with feature development teams, site-based personnel, and stakeholders - including verification & validation, project leads and customers—to resolve integration issues and enable verification activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the integration team across Perth and site-based engineers, ensuring effective operations and collaboration
  • Coordinate and monitor end-to-end integration activities to meet exit criteria and enable verification of release candidates
  • Partner with feature development teams, site personnel, verification & validation, project leads and customers to resolve integration issues
  • Keep leadership and stakeholders informed of integration progress and key outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to integration engineers
  • Track team performance, implement process improvements, and drive efficiency in issue resolution
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements, including automation, to streamline integration workflows
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex integration issues requiring leadership intervention
  • Deliver detailed integration documentation, including testing results, configurations, known limitations, and resolved issues to evidence exit criteria.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proficient in relevant technologies within the Product scope (e.g. C#, C++, microservices architecture, Git, CI/CD tooling)
  • Prior experience integrating Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS)
  • Strong leadership in managing cross-functional technical teams
  • Expertise in complex issue prioritization and resolution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across teams
  • Ability to track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
