3020 NG Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced aviation training professional to deliver hands-on and classroom training for RAAF maintenance staff on the C-27J Spartan fleet.

You will assess student competency, mentor trainees, and maintain up-to-date courseware and assessments. The role requires extensive aviation experience, a Certificate IV in Aeroskills, and the ability to obtain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) is required.
  • TAE or equivalent is required for training delivery.
  • Experience in defence aviation preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training to aircraft maintenance personnel in classroom and practical environments.

Shape the next generation of defence aviation maintainers and pass on what you’ve learnt. We’re looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Avionics Technician, or Aviation Tradesperson to train and mentor the next generation of maintainers supporting the RAAF\'s C-27J Spartan fleet. This is a hands-on training role delivering classroom and practical training, assessing students, maintaining course material, and working closely with serving RAAF personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical training to aircraft maintenance personnel in both classroom and practical environments.
  • Assess student competency and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Prepare and deliver training and assessments in accordance with approved training programs.
  • Maintain and improve courseware, learning materials, and training resources.
  • Support students throughout their learning journey and ensure training outcomes are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Work closely with Defence personnel and industry stakeholders to support operational requirements and training excellence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the training environment.

About You
  • Experienced aviation professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and can confidently engage with students and Defence stakeholders.
  • Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics).
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Highly regarded Defence aviation experience.
  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent.
