Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Technical Director for Wastewater Treatment to lead municipal wastewater, biosolids and recycled water projects from our Sydney, Newcastle or Canberra offices. You will guide technical strategy, governance and project delivery while mentoring the next generation of wastewater specialists.

Qualifications

Relevant engineering qualifications and significant senior experience in municipal wastewater process engineering and treatment design.
Experience leading complex multidisciplinary treatment projects and delivering impactful outcomes.
Expertise in governance, assurance and peer review.

Responsibilities

Set the technical direction for wastewater, biosolids and recycled water projects, providing governance and technical review at key stages.
Act as a trusted adviser to major water utilities on technical, regulatory and investment decisions.
Grow and mentor a high-performing treatment team and develop the next generation of wastewater specialists.
Shape market strategy, identify opportunities and build enduring client relationships.
Collaborate with Aurecon's water and wastewater experts to deliver integrated outcomes.
