The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.

The qualities that help you thrive:
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with ideally 20+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional registration.
  • Extensive experience delivering complex structural engineering projects, with strong knowledge of Australian codes, standards and design practices.
  • Proven experience providing technical leadership, undertaking design and technical reviews, and leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience acting as a Project Director or in a similar senior project leadership role, with strong project and commercial management skills.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with a track record of building relationships, contributing to proposals and securing new work.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a focus on mentoring and developing structural engineers and future leaders.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry-standard structural engineering software, such as SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT and Strand7.
Why you'll love working with us:
  • Flexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, full-time, part-time, job-sharing and hybrid work options
