Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager in Australia to lead day‑to‑day technical and service delivery for outsourced solutions. You will act as escalation point for issues, provide technical leadership and governance, and build long‑term partnerships with customers.

The role requires a minimum 2 days on customer site in your city and a strong background in Cloud, security, and enterprise IT environments. Datacom emphasises agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 12 years of broad IT experience.
• 2+ years managing senior‑level customer relationships in IT Managed Services.
• Demonstrated leadership of people and teams.
• Customer‑centric approach to service delivery.
• Experience in technical consulting/architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Baseline security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure EUX service is restored after incidents.
• Document changes undertaken by the BAU team.
• Attend CAB meetings and communicate impact of changes to stakeholders.
• Escalate BAU issues with the CTO and capture systemic issues for the roadmap.
• Contribute ideas to streamline operations and drive efficiency.
• Identify systems requiring upgrades with CTO input and planning.
• Plan and coordinate resources to deliver product implementations.
• Act as integration point between customers, Datacom teams and vendors.
