Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our team in Wakefield. You will coordinate technical information between external consultants and internal departments to ensure approvals are obtained and information issued for a prompt start on site across multiple residential schemes.

The role requires experience in the residential sector, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Technical Coordinator - 5* House builder- Wakefield

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our clients team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As Technical Coordinator, you will coordinate all technical information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the design and construction process. To ensure all approvals are obtained and information received and issued to allow for a prompt start on site across a range of residential schemes.

Duties of a Technical Coordinator:

• Ensure all drawings and details are accurate and commercially suitable throughout the design and construction phase stages.
• Attend and contribute to progress meetings on site as required.
• Co-ordinate the planning process where required and review planning approval to ensure conditions are addressed prior to start on site
• Coordinate the submission of a Building Control application and supporting documentation
• Liaise with consultants and attend meetings to progress all relevant Technical matters
• Assist Commercial and Buying teams in review and approval of subcontractor design information.
• Ensure accurate and on time design information in line with client requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Residential sector
• Full Current UK Driving Licence
• Proficient in MS Office programmes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise and co-ordinate activities between departments
• Salary up to £55k + £5,500 Car allowance.
