Job summary

Great Southern Bank (Formerly CUA) in Brisbane is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs with scalable automation solutions. You’ll help design workflows and intelligent automation across UiPath, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform to deliver reusable technology capabilities.

You will partner with stakeholders, translate requirements for developers and architects, and shape backlog priorities for realistic planning in a hybrid delivery setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or similar within complex technology environments.
• Strong experience working with workflow, RPA, APIs, integrations or distributed systems in a business-facing analysis role.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technically precise requirements, use cases and documentation.
• Experience partnering closely with developers, engineers and architects in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of business processes, customer journeys and systems analysis.
• Exposure to workflow and automation technologies such as UiPath, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform.
• Experience with backlog management, delivery planning, prioritisation or Scrum-style facilitation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for different audiences.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving with a focus on reuse, simplification and sustainable technology solutions.
• A degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Work with architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, integration patterns and technology strategy.
• Shape backlog priorities, delivery sequencing and demand to support realistic and transparent planning.
• Support initiatives from discovery through build, testing and release, resolving ambiguity and keeping business intent clear throughout delivery.
