Job summary

Paxus is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support technology-focused projects in Adelaide. The role is located at Franklin Street with hybrid work: 3 days in the office and travel to Olympic Dam may be required.

Responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, mapping processes, and facilitating stakeholder workshops to translate business needs into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Experience in technology infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Knowledge of BABOK is advantageous.

Technical Business Analyst

Location: Adelaide – Franklin Street
Contract: 6 months, likely to extend
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in the office

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support technology-focused projects within a large organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop process maps and supporting documentation.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops with a range of stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear, practical solutions.
• Develop tactical plans to support business and technology outcomes.
• Monitor requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through a collaborative and people-focused approach.
• Support technology infrastructure-related initiatives and projects.
• Occasional travel to Olympic Dam may be required.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Technology Infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and process mapping.
• Knowledge of BABOK is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of technology and infrastructure environments.
• Experience working across Natural Resources, Utilities, Construction or Electrical industries is highly regarded.
• Confident working with diverse stakeholders and able to build strong working relationships.
