About the Role

As a Technical Architect, you will play a vital role within our Information Services team, supporting frontline services through efficient, innovative, and seamless access to reliable Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems, alongside supporting social services contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current technology capabilities against business and operational requirements.
• Identify technology risks, vulnerabilities, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, ICT teams, vendors, and support providers to map out current and future needs.
• Validate technical assumptions from business analysis.
• Research and evaluate market-leading, best-of-breed solutions and their interoperability with existing government platforms.
• Develop and assess solution options (maintain, enhance, replace, or transform).
• Provide industry-best-practice architectural recommendations, identifying dependencies, risks, and investment requirements.
