Amazon Web Services seeks a Technical Account Manager to lead enterprise customers in ANZ, advising on cloud adoption, architecture, and operations. You will collaborate with AWS engineers, review performance, and guide launches while aligning with customer goals across compute, storage, networking and security domains.
You will need strong customer-facing communication, experience in similar senior technical roles, and a track record of delivering proactive guidance and operational excellence
As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services, you will be a valued member of the Enterprise Support team leading the success of enterprise support customers for software industries in building applications and services on the AWS platform. You work backwards from your customer to define a support strategy, deliver expert advice on AWS services in support of questions, project and launch planning and ongoing operational issues. TAMs are engaged at the account level, providing recommendations and proactive advice through all phases of the cloud adoption life cycle. You have demonstrable experience in providing operational best practice guidance in two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.
You preferably have software engineering, SRE and / or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate and present to small and large audiences. Experience in similar roles such as a Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer or another similar technical role another similar technical role is highly preferred.
