Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is launching a Technology Associate Program designed for individuals from non-traditional pathways who want to enter engineering, data science or cybersecurity. The program offers an earn-while-you-learn experience with opportunities to work on real projects from day one, access top-tier resources, and receive dedicated coaching to accelerate your career.

You’ll join a supportive community, with flexible rotations and the option to work part-time or full-time in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Non-traditional tech pathway in Engineering, Data Science or Cybersecurity via alternative education.
• Recent tech qualification completed within last 12 months or due within 3 months; less than 12 months tech work experience.
• Australian/NZ citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency.
• Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth at application time.
• Availability to work at least two days per week.
• Diploma-level qualification from TAFE acceptable for entry.

Responsibilities

• Work on real projects from day one in Engineering, Data Science or Cybersecurity.
• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced leaders.
• Engage with the tech early career community and participate in optional rotations.
• Balance flexibility with hybrid/remote working arrangements as available.
