A local government entity is looking for a Team Member – Tractor to join their Open Spaces team. The role involves operating tractors for mowing and park maintenance, ensuring community satisfaction with public spaces. Candidates should have experience in park maintenance, communication skills, and a valid driver's license. A supportive workplace with flexible arrangements is offered.

The City Open Spaces team manages the daily presentation and maintenance of Council’s open spaces, sportsgrounds, playgrounds, passive and public spaces, golf courses, botanical gardens and native vegetation areas within the Cumberland City Area, ensuring that our residents and visitors have access to quality and attractive open spaces of which they can be proud and enjoy.
Our Open Spaces team have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic tractor operators to join the team! The Team Member – Tractor will undertake a variety of tractor and broad area mowing, maintenance and renovation activities that combined assist in delivering the overall maintenance of Council’s Open Space and ensure that these Open Spaces remain in excellent condition, safe and suitable for use by the community. This role will also assist in ensuring customer and community satisfaction with Councils open space operations are met.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
