Job summary

Subway Melbourne is seeking motivated applicants for a casual position at our Docklands location. You will greet guests, prepare and serve Subway® sandwiches, and deliver friendly, efficient service while maintaining hygiene standards.

We value a positive attitude, reliability, and the willingness to learn through Subway® courses. This role offers flexible hours and exposure to a fast-paced retail food environment in a premier urban area.

Qualifications

• Active on feet and able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Full training provided through Subway courses.
• Experience in food service or retail is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Comply with the Food Code of Practice.
• Till Operator, monitoring stock levels, and checking in deliveries.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet the Subway brand and customer expectations.
• Work as a team member and deliver a high standard of service when dealing with products, sales and catering for customer needs.

Skills & Requirements

• You will need to be active on your feet. You must have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• You must be able to travel to the above-listed store. Access to one's own form of transport, such as a car or bike, is paramount.
• Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses.
• Winning attitude.Desire to serve and add value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner, promoting Subway® brand awarenessand ensuring hygiene standards are met.
