Job summary

Findstaff is seeking an experienced Team Member Engineering Services Works to join its Roads Construction team in Swan Hill, Victoria. You will support road maintenance and construction activities, including tar truck operations, plant operation, and general civil works.

Commencing in late October, you will report to the Roads and Projects Engineer and help deliver safe, efficient, high-quality road works. The role offers full-time hours within a regional council context.

Qualifications

• HR Truck Licence is essential.
• Experience with roads maintenance and road construction.
• Experience operating trucks, plant and heavy equipment.
• Current Police Check or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles and road construction plant.
• Assist with road maintenance and construction projects.
• Conduct drainage, signage and infrastructure maintenance works.
• Complete pre-start checks and basic plant maintenance.
• Follow WHS requirements and safe work practices.

About the Role

• Following WHS requirements and safe work practices

About You

To be successful, you will possess:

• HR Truck Licence (essential)
• Front End Loader competency
• Demonstrated experience in roads maintenance and road construction
• Experience operating trucks, plant and heavy equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current Police Check or ability to obtain one
