Job summary

Ampol Limited is seeking a Retail Team Member to help create a welcoming store experience, assist customers, and keep the site well-presented and safe. You’ll handle transactions, restock shelves, and contribute to a smooth day-to-day operation in a busy convenience store.

Join a large network that values safety, teamwork and excellent customer service, with training and development from day one as you support busy shifts across the retail floor.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to handle cash and operate the checkout system.
• Experience with food prep or coffee service is a plus.
• A friendly, safety-conscious approach to serving customers.

What You’ll Do:

As a Retail Team Member, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store that keeps our customers coming back. No two shifts are the same. One moment you'll be helping a customer find exactly what they need and the next you'll be ensuring our shelves are fully stocked, coffee is flowing and the store looks its best.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the entire site running smoothly by:

• Making every customer stop a great one by serving customers with a smile, helping them find what they need, preparing fresh food and coffee and keeping things moving at the checkout.
  
• Keeping the store looking its best by restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, maintaining displays and ensuring customers can easily find what they're after.
  
• Creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment by maintaining high standards across the entire site, from the shop floor and food areas to the bathrooms and forecourt.
  
• Keeping the store running smoothly by, following safety procedures, handlingtransactions accurately and taking ownership of day-day store operations.
