The Team Lead, Procurement & Contract Management is responsible for all procurement activities undertaken by the QAS, to support the delivery of high-quality ambulance services. The role will partner with senior internal & external stakeholders to manage the development & implementation of procurement programs and contract/supplier management activities and will develop and implement policies, procedures and training material in accordance with all relevant legislation, including the current Queensland Procurement Policy.

- Strong commitment to delivering high quality client service as demonstrated in attitude and behaviour and the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills including a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and cost effective procurement outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to implement practices which promote a fair and ethical workplace, employment equity, cultural diversity and occupational health and safety.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, qualifications or formal training in government procurement and contract management practices, law, and/or business management will be highly regarded.
- The incumbent may be required to travel intrastate and interstate on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
