Job summary

The City of Parramatta is seeking a Team Leader Cleansing for an early shift starting at 2:30am. The role oversees a small team, plans tasks, allocates resources, and ensures timely completion of cleans in public areas.

A strong focus on safety, teamwork and accountability guides daily work under the One Council approach. Salary ranges from $70,836 to $77,981 plus 12% super and applicable allowances or penalties.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an operational team.
• Current MR Driver's license and White card.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role.
• Ability to manage and coordinate daily work schedules
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances

Responsibilities

• Undertake the day-to-day management of a team member and their assigned tasks.
• Undertake planning, goal setting, task, and resource allocation for the team, to ensure a program of works are completed effectively.
• Ensure completion of all necessary administration functions.
• Mentor new starters and others within the team.
• Work alongside a team member to complete daily works such as litter picking, pressure washing, amenities cleaning within the public domain.
