Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland seeks a Team Leader to supervise Home Care Workers and Support Services Workers in a community setting. You will support delivery of services, assist with care plans, assessments and client documentation, and guide staff in daily activities.

This part-time role is 3 days per week, with the flexibility of work-from-home options within a values-driven organisation focused on care and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Candidates have demonstrated leadership in supervising staff.
• Experience in senior or supervisory roles in non-clinical community care.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Home Care Workers and Support Services Workers daily.
• Assist with orientation, guidance and staff development.
• Facilitate and monitor individualised care plans for clients.
• Assist with assessments, client documentation and related tasks.

Education

Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent

Assist Clients With Medication Certification

Job description

Anglicare Southern Queensland's Home and Community service offers a range of support and assistance to enable our older population to live their best lives in their own homes.

About the role

The Team Leader will support the delivery of community services to an assigned group of clients and will assist in the facilitation and monitoring of individualised care plans which meet the needs of clients as delegated.

The Team Leader will also supervise Home Care Workers and Support Services Workers on a day-to-day basis, assist with orientation of new staff and provide guidance and support including assessments, client related documentation and other related activities as delegated.

This is a part time role and only 3 days per week.

About you

• Previous experience in a senior are worker or supervisory role with experience facilitating non-clinical community-based training
• Able to lead, manage, train and mentor team members
• Able to assist with planning and managing client care
• Possess highly developed interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated time-management skills

Mandatory qualifications

• Current National Police Certificate
• Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent as well as Assist Clients With Medication Certification
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
