Job summary

Onsite Rental Group is seeking a Team Leader to head the service team at Newman, WA, supporting equipment inspections, servicing and repairs. The role is FIFO with an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, based at site with travel to Tom Price as required.

You will coordinate servicing to maximise availability, mentor technicians, provide diagnostics, ensure parts and tools are stocked, lead safety culture, and perform servicing and repairs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification is required.
• Experience leading teams and managing service demand.
• Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment servicing and repairs to maximise availability and reliability.
• Lead and mentor the service team in day-to-day activities.
• Provide expert diagnostics and meet customer requirements.
• Train technicians on service procedures, including Baseplan.
• Ensure parts, consumables, tools and equipment are available.
• Foster safety culture and compliance within the team/branch.
• Perform equipment servicing and repairs.

About The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Team Leader will lead the service team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand.

Onsite currently have two Team Leader positions available at Tom Price and Newman, fly-in fly-out on an 8 days on and 6 days off roster.

This challenging and diverse role offers a variety of work, both on and off the tools.

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Coordinate equipment servicing & repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability & reliability
• Lead and mentor your team in their day to day activities
• Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements
• Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan
• Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available
• Lead safety culture & compliance for team / branch
• Conduct equipment servicing and repairs

Skills And Experience

• A mechanical trade qualification
