  • Contribute to event medical risk assessments and operational plans, working closely with event organisers, health services and emergency agencies.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
About You

You are an experienced Paramedic and confident frontline leader who can balance people leadership, operational demands and clinical decision-making. You are calm and practical in time-critical situations, comfortable working across varied environments and committed to developing others while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety and service delivery.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Paramedic and Authority to Practice.
  • A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience as a Paramedic or higher, including exposure to out-of-hospital ambulance operations.
  • Proven team leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to coach, support and develop frontline employees.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving and incident management capability.
  • Highly developed communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
  • A sound understanding of work health and safety and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Experience with rostering and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A current unrestricted SA or NT C class driver’s license.

Experience in aeromedical, event or remote health settings, AIIMS certification, knowledge of Aboriginal cultural safety principles, or postgraduate study in leadership, management, education, intensive care paramedicine or disaster management will be highly regarded.
