Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre in Warrnambool is seeking a part-time professional to join the Victims Assistance Program. The role focuses on risk assessment, safety planning, and client advocacy, delivering trauma-informed support across our service model.

You will work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring client-centred care while collaborating with police, courts and external services.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or similar discipline.
• Minimum four years relevant experience post qualification.
• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System, court and police processes.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide self-care practices.
• Experience in trauma-informed case management and advocacy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationships.
• Flexible, resilient with ability to work in changing environment.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check required.
