Job summary

The University of Queensland (ITaLI) is hiring a Principal Coordinator, Teaching Recognition to lead prestigious teaching awards, grants and professional recognition initiatives across the university. You will partner with academics, senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver impactful programs and advance teaching excellence.

Based at the St Lucia campus, the role offers a stable, full-time permanent appointment with a competitive salary and 17% super.

Qualifications

• Degree with at least four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating complex programs or end-to-end processes (awards, grants, accreditation, recognition).
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of teaching recognition programs and awards.
• Manage multiple program cycles: promotion, applications, assessment, approvals, outcomes and reporting.
• Provide specialist guidance on program requirements, policy and governance to applicants and committees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with academic staff, senior leaders and external organisations.
• Drive process improvements using data, feedback and insights.
