Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year*

Contract: Fixed term to 31 August 2026. Required as soon as possible

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking to recruit a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant (EYFS) for our Early Years classes who has a particular interest in child development and learning through play. The role includes working with pupils, either one-to-one or in small groups, some of whom may have SEND.

Responsibilities include supporting learning activities, promoting a positive learning environment and assisting with the development and progress of pupils within the early years setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grades A-C in English and Maths
• Recent, relevant experience in working with children
• A childcare qualification would be desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of stakeholders
• Patience, kindness, with high expectations for children and staff
• Paediatric First Aid qualifications are desirable
