A primary school in Ipswich is seeking a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant for Early Years classes. This role involves working with students in small groups, supporting their learning and development. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, relevant experience with children, and ideally a childcare qualification. Salary: £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year*
Contract: Fixed term to 31 August 2026. Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to recruit a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant (EYFS) for our Early Years classes who has a particular interest in child development and learning through play. The role includes working with pupils, either one-to-one or in small groups, some of whom may have SEND.
Responsibilities include supporting learning activities, promoting a positive learning environment and assisting with the development and progress of pupils within the early years setting.
