About the role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Spanish Teacher with the ability, enthusiasm, and flexibility to teach across varied year levels from Prep to Year 12. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of our Spanish program, building continuity in student learning and fostering a love of language and culture from the early years through to senior levels.

What you will do

• Teach Spanish across Primary and Secondary levels, tailoring learning experiences to suit the developmental and linguistic needs of each stage.
• Inspire curiosity and intercultural understanding through engaging, communicative teaching practices.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of a cohesive Spanish curriculum that develops students’ confidence and fluency across all levels.
• Integrate digital learning tools and authentic cultural experiences into classroom practice.
• Support co‑curricular opportunities such as language clubs, cultural events and immersion programs.
• Work collaboratively within the Languages team and across sub‑schools to support student engagement and achievement.

What you will bring

• Teaching qualifications and current registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Demonstrated ability to teach Spanish effectively across Primary and Secondary levels, fostering progression in both language skills and cultural understanding.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment and differentiation appropriate to various stages of learning.
• Ability to teach in Senior and knowledge/experience of QCAA Senior Syllabus would be an advantage.
• Capacity to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and the mission, values and ethos of the College.
