Job summary

St John’s Lutheran Primary School in Portland, VIC is seeking a part-time Teacher's Aide (0.85 FTE) starting 21 January 2027. The role focuses on supporting students and staff within a Christ-centred Lutheran context, in a school with around 120 students from Foundation to Year 6.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and learning support staff, assisting with diverse learning, wellbeing, social, emotional or additional needs, and supporting Junior primary classes as required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher's Aide to join our team in 2027, the position will commence on 21st January 2027.The successful applicant will provide support to students and staff.

St John’s Lutheran Primary School is seeking a new team member who is an enthusiastic, dedicated teacher that strives for academic excellence. The successful Teacher's Aide will be willing to support the Christian ethos (Lutheran) of the school while working in a close team environment.

St John’s is located in the beautiful coastal town of Portland VIC. We currently have 120 students structured in Foundation to Year 6.

We are a Christian School and believe in developing every aspect of our students. We work hard at developing confidence, resilience, creativity and positive mindsets. We also strongly believe in setting high expectations for demonstrating respect towards each other, developing a strong work ethic and driving personal best in regards to student growth.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about supporting students to participate, learn and flourish, and contributing to a Christ-centred school community within the Lutheran tradition.
