We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Boulder PS is seeking innovative and relationship-focused teachers to join our team and lead engaging STEM learning across the school.

Suitable applicants will plan and deliver high-quality STEM learning experiences that develop students' curiosity, creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking skills through practical, collaborative and real-world learning experiences.

A key focus of the role will be building STEM capacity across Boulder PS, including supporting staff to strengthen their STEM teaching practice and increasing the range and quality of STEM resources available to students and teachers. Suitable applicants will work closely with staff to embed STEM across the curriculum and foster a culture of innovation and inquiry.

STEM roles are based in our dedicated STEM Learning Hub, Ngurra Nintipayi, providing an exciting space for students to explore, create, design and solve problems through hands-on learning.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
