A state government educational department is seeking a highly motivated part-time teacher to deliver an engaging Music program at Roebuck Primary School. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student engagement. This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026.
Roebuck Primary School (PS) aims to provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that caters for the academic, as well as the social, emotional and physical needs of our students. Our staff are passionate about student learning and work collaboratively across year levels to improve the educational outcomes of all students. We focus on providing a solid foundation in literacy and numeracy and offer a range of whole-school teaching programs, such as Let\u2019s Decode, Spelling Mastery and the use of Daily Reviews, and Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) lesson design to ensure that all students have opportunities to shine and be successful.

The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated and possess professional knowledge, practice, and experience to deliver an engaging Music program in line with the Music Curriculum. The successful applicant should ideally be able to cater to differing learning styles using a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage and motivate all students.
The successful applicant will support major school directions and be committed to whole school approaches and initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks to establish strong community partnerships are also highly desired.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers. Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.
