Job summary

The Geelong College in Australia seeks an outstanding Teacher of Secondary Mathematics to teach across Years 7–12, with capacity to cover VCE General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics. The successful candidate will inspire students with authentic, engaging lessons while contributing to the school’s pastoral and co-curricular life.

Experience with the Victorian Curriculum, VIT registration, and relevant first-aid qualifications is preferred for a sustained, full-time

Qualifications

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons aligned to the Victorian Curriculum (Years 7-12).
• Desirable to teach VCE General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics.
• Evidence of Right to Work in Australia.
• Current Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registration.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID 011) and CPR (HTLAID 009) and asthma.
• Completion of the College anaphylaxis qualification (22578VIC).

The Geelong College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Teacher of Secondary Mathematics to teach across Years 7-12. The ability to teach VCE General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics would be highly regarded.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Mathematics teacher to inspire and engage students through stimulating and authentic learning experiences, while contributing meaningfully to the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College.

Qualifications and Experience:
