Job summary

Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School in Sydney Region is seeking a Teacher Librarian to support literacy, information literacy, and curriculum collaboration within a vibrant learning community.

Candidates must hold or be enrolled in NSW DoE–approved teacher librarian qualifications and demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learners in an inclusive library environment, partnering with staff to plan and deliver engaging programs.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach secondary library or currently undertaking or willing to enrol in teacher librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
• Capacity to support the Learning and Wellbeing faculty by assisting students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive library environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teaching staff on curriculum planning and delivery of programs.
• Capacity to lead a flexible, student-centred library space that acts as a vibrant learning hub.
