Remuneration: $115,318 salary plus 12% superannuation
Join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence team as a Teacher – Individual Support and help prepare the next generation of aged care and disability support professionals. Delivered at our Broadmeadows campus, you will teach Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV Ageing Support and Certificate IV Disability Support.
This opportunity is part of a hybrid delivery model combining face‑to‑face, online and blended learning. You will provide both daytime and evening classes, create engaging learning experiences, and support students to develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required to succeed in the care sector.
In collaboration with experienced educators and industry professionals, you will shape student outcomes and deliver flexible, contemporary learning experiences. The role involves training diverse learner cohorts, including work‑based learners and traineeships, and supporting strong industry connections and workplace outcomes.
As part of a collaborative teaching team, you will work closely with colleagues across all Kangan Institute campuses, contributing to shared resources, best‑practice teaching approaches and consistent student experiences. There may be opportunities to deliver training and support learners across partner locations in Melbourne and Bendigo.
