Job summary

Braemar College Limited is seeking a part-time, fixed-term French teacher for the Senior School, Term 2, 2027. The successful candidate will teach across Years 5–12 with a focus on French through VCE, be VIT registered, and contribute to a supportive, aspirational learning culture.

We expect an enthusiastic educator who collaborates with staff, embraces innovative teaching and fosters student wellbeing and growth. Commencement: 12 April 2027 to 18 June 2027.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to teach French across the Senior School and up to VCE.
• Current VIT registration is essential.

Job description

Braemar College is an independent, co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses, both of which are located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

The successful candidate will experience working in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students. The position is a part-time fixed-term position for Term 2, 2027and exists due to the teacher taking long service leave. You would commence on 12 April 2027 â 18 June 2027.

• Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches
• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach French through to VCE.
• Display an individual learning disposition that strives for continual improvement.
• Be a current VIT registered teacher.
