Job summary

Sacred Heart Primary School Highgate invites applications for an ongoing Early Years Primary Classroom Teaching position. Sacred Heart is a Catholic, single stream primary school for Pre Kindergarten to Year 6 with a strong focus on Digital Technologies and a 1:1 iPad Programme in Years 3–6.

The successful candidate will design engaging, differentiated learning experiences, deliver explicit teaching, and collaborate with staff, parents and parish.

Qualifications

• Possess an ECE teaching qualification with accreditation toward Religious Education.
• Ability to develop engaging, differentiated learning experiences for all students.
• Proven capacity to plan and deliver explicit, focused teaching.
• Strong knowledge of classroom pedagogy and educational theories.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

Position Details

Sacred Heart Primary School Highgate invites applications for an ongoing Early Years Primary Classroom Teaching position. Sacred Heart Primary School in Highgate is a Catholic, single stream Primary School for boys and girls from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6. Sacred Heart is an inner city school community, and enjoys a positive relationship with the Sacred Heart, Highgate Parish. A strong focus on Digital Technologies and an award winning whole school STEM design process exists, and is integrated in classrooms that are supported by contemporary furnishings. A 1:1 iPad Programme operates in Years 3-6, and learning in the Early Years is supported by collaborative access to iPads. Currently, Specialist teachers enrich student learning in Music, Visual Art, Italian, Science, and Physical Education. Qualifications Required

• Possess a relevant teaching tertiary ECE qualification.
• Have achieved Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or be working towards this).
