Job summary

Sunset State School in Mount Isa is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team. This permanent part-time role (0.56 FTE) provides support to teachers and students, helping prepare and enhance learning materials and activities.

The successful candidate will assist with sports and excursions, help manage equipment, and contribute to a collaborative school environment focused on safety, inclusion, and engaging learning experiences for Indigenous and diverse students.

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.56 FTE), 42.50 hours per fortnight.

About Us

Sunset State School is located in Mount Isa in far Northwest Queensland. The Sunset community is immensely complex, comprising an Indigenous student population of approximately 200 (80%) and other students from many other places such as the Philippines, Fiji and South Africa. About The Role

Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
