Job summary

Des's Group is seeking a motivated Taxi Driver to join a growing family-owned business serving the Port Pirie community. You will drive modern, air-conditioned vehicles and receive comprehensive in-house training and support to obtain driver accreditation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide safe, high-quality taxi services, maintain a safe work environment, and strive to exceed customer expectations while earning via commission-based compensation.

Qualifications

• A full SA drivers license (essential)
• A Small Passenger Vehicle Driver Accreditation (not essential but an advantage)
• A proven safe driving record
• Well-developed personal communication skills
• A high level of customer service skills
• Good record keeping skills
• Good money handling skills
• The ability to listen and communicate well
• A good understanding of Australian Road Rules
• A good, sound working knowledge of the local town, streets and activities

Responsibilities

• Ensure the passenger receives a safe, enjoyable trip at all times
• Provide and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with OHS policies and procedures
• Provide a professional level of service in-line with DIT rules and regulations
• Deliver a level of service that exceeds our customers expectations
• Ensure smart working practices are followed to ensure good $ return per km
