Job summary

King Living is seeking a technically strong tax professional to manage compliance, transfer pricing and advisory across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with the Head of Tax and Finance Manager in a lean team, gaining breadth beyond a single tax slice.

The role covers income tax, FBT and indirect tax, with opportunities to shape governance and forecasting while expanding into new markets, leveraging SAP and advanced Excel in a dynamic, AI-forward environment.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification with 5+ years post-qualification tax experience in a multinational corporation or large firm.
• Strong understanding of income tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• High attention to detail and ability to analyse complex data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare income tax, FBT and indirect tax returns and workpapers across the group.
• Prepare intercompany schedules and transfer pricing calculations.
• Research technical positions and provide actionable advice for the business.
• Forecast tax, cash flow and budgeting; support new market entries.
• Improve tax processes and automation; lift tax knowledge across Finance.

That footprint makes the tax function genuinely interesting. Income tax, FBT and indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions, transfer pricing across a related-party manufacturing and retail group, and new market entries that bring fresh registrations and obligations with them.

Working closely with the Head of Tax and the Finance Manager, you will cover compliance, tax-effect accounting, transfer pricing and advisory support - and you will get the breadth you would normally only find by moving between several roles. It is a hands-on position in a lean team, which means visibility of the whole group rather than one slice of it.

What You Will Own

Tax Compliance & Reporting

Prepare income tax, FBT and indirect tax returns and workpapers across the group, along with annual tax-effect accounting - and keep every jurisdiction on top of its filing deadlines.

Transfer Pricing

Prepare intercompany schedules and transfer pricing calculations, monitor pricing against group policy, and strengthen our documentation with external advisors.

Advisory & Governance

Research the technical position and turn it into advice the business can use. Maintain our tax governance framework, and handle tax authority queries and external advisors.

Forecasting & Expansion

Contribute to tax forecasting, cash flow and budgeting, and support new market entries - registrations, obligations and getting each jurisdiction set up properly.

Process & Systems

Improve tax processes, controls and automation, support the testing of new accounting systems, and lift tax knowledge across the Finance team.

Who You Are

A technically strong tax professional who is happy working autonomously, and just as happy explaining a complex position to someone who is not a tax specialist.

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification tax experience, in a multinational corporation or a large accounting or audit firm
• Strong understanding of income tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
• Solid corporate tax compliance and advisory experience, with exposure to transfer pricing and international taxation
• Knowledge of internal control mechanisms, reporting and continuous improvement processes
• Highly accurate, with real attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex data
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel is highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across all levels of the business
• Naturally curious, with strong critical thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities
