Job summary

King Living is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to support end-to-end payroll across Australia and international regions from our Turrella Centre. You’ll work within the payroll team to ensure accurate processing, data integrity and timely payments while shaping your hours to fit your life.

You will bring experience with Australian payroll standards, multi-region exposure, and strong Excel skills. The role offers onsite facilities and a supportive, collaborative culture at King Living.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and discretion.
• Exposure to multi-region or multi-entity payroll environments is highly valued.
• Proficiency with payroll data cleansing, validation and migration tasks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: support end-to-end payroll across Australia, NZ, Canada, USA, UK and SEA.
• Data and Systems: contribute to data cleansing and systems preparation for payroll initiatives.
• Compliance and Query Resolution: ensure compliance with payroll legislation and respond to pay queries promptly.
• Reconciliation and Reporting: assist with month-end, year-end and audit payroll reporting.

Working 25 to 30 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract, you will support end-to-end payroll across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK and South East Asia during a period of real organisational change and growth. What You Will Do

• Payroll Processing. Partnering with our payroll team, support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple regions and pay cycles, ensuring every team member is paid accurately and on time, every time.
• Data and Systems. Contribute to data cleansing, validation and systems preparation as King Living continues to invest in and evolve its people technology.
• Compliance and Query Resolution. Support compliance with relevant payroll legislation and act as a first point of contact for employee pay queries, responding with professionalism, care and speed.
• Reconciliation and Reporting. Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting in support of Finance, including month end, year end and audit requirements.

Who You Are

You will likely come from an end-to-end payroll processing role, ideally with exposure to multi-region or multi-entity environments. What matters most is your accuracy, your ownership and your ability to keep payroll running without exception, whatever your working pattern.

• End-to-end Australian payroll experience with sound working knowledge of Fair Work, modern awards, superannuation and PAYG
• NZ payroll experience highly regarded
• Experience operating cloud payroll platforms, with Employment Hero experience highly regarded
• Experience with SAP or SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded
• Experience with payroll data cleansing, validation or migration highly regarded
• Strong reconciliation, numeracy and advanced Excel skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with absolute discretion handling confidential employee data
• Able to work to tight pay cut-offs across multiple time zones with a high degree of ownership
• Exposure to multi-country payroll across South East Asia, North America and the UK is desirable
• A payroll qualification or certification such as the Australian Payroll Association is desirable
