Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a degree in Commerce or Business (Accounting major)
• Citizen of, or hold permanent residency in, Australia or New Zealand
• Demonstrated interest in accounting and advisory services

Responsibilities

• Preparing tax returns and identifying tax issues
• Assisting with research and preparation of tax advice
• Preparing emails for clients to forward ATO correspondence, request information etc.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
• Liaising with the ATO and other revenue departments
• Drafting tax alerts
