Facet Accounting Pty Ltd is seeking a Tax & Business Services Client Manager in Maroochydore, QLD to manage a diversified client portfolio across tax compliance and advisory work.

You will prepare and review income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals, produce financial statements, and mentor junior staff. Your client-facing role includes direct engagement with clients and collaboration with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in public practice
• CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards
• Desirable: experience with agricultural, farming, or rural clients
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills with clients
• Can-do attitude and proactive work style
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely when required
• Team player with collaborative mindset

Facet Accounting Pty Ltd – Maroochydore QLD

As a Tax & Business Services Client Manager, you'll manage a varied portfolio of clients across tax compliance and business advisory work, with exposure to a range of industries across regional Australia. This role has real scope to grow as the firm expands.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and self-managed super funds
• Prepare financial statements and manage compliance obligations (BAS, IAS, FBT, TPAR)
• Engage directly with clients, building trusted relationships
• Support, train and mentor junior and offshore team members where needed
• Work closely with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on client matters

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years' previous experience in public practice
• CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards
• Experience with agricultural, farming, or rural clients highly desirable (but not essential)
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills — comfortable talking directly with clients
• A genuine can-do attitude — you make things happen rather than waiting to be asked
• Forward-thinking, with the ability to think outside the box and stay a step ahead
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously, particularly if working remotely
• A genuine team player who values a supportive, down-to-earth workplace culture
