Healthcare Professionals Group is seeking a skilled cardiac sonographer to join an established private cardiology service in Tasmania. You will independently perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, and generate detailed reports for a broad range of pathology, with a workload designed for sonographer wellbeing.

The role offers a two-week locum block ASAP with travel, accommodation, and a vehicle where needed; one-hour appointment times for echoes and no on-call or

Qualifications

• ASAR accreditation in Cardiac Ultrasound is required.
• Strong clinical experience in echocardiography.
• Experience performing stress echocardiography.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient-focused approach to care.
• Current compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently performing high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Performing stress echocardiography.
• Completing comprehensive echocardiographic reports.
• Working collaboratively with cardiologists and the wider cardiac diagnostic team.
• Providing a high standard of patient-focused care.
• Assisting with other cardiac investigations where appropriate to your experience.
