Job summary

UGL is seeking a hands-on Fuel Tanker Driver to operate on the Defence Fuel Network in the Darwin region. This full-time role covers loading, delivering and refuelling activities with multiple shifts and a 38-hour week, balancing work-life commitments.

Key duties include quality checks, vehicle inspections, and keeping mandatory reporting current. You’ll join a disciplined team delivering critical fuel services for Defence assets.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HC Driver Licence.
• Must hold a Dangerous Goods Licence.
• Australian citizenship and successful police check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a fuel tanker to and from defence bases.
• Load, unload and deliver fuel to aircraft or refuelling points.
• Perform fuel quality checks and basic vehicle inspections.
• Ensure reporting and compliance records are accurate and up-to-date.

Opportunity

The role involves driving a fuel tanker around the defence base, loading it, and delivering fuel to aircrafts or refueling points. The role also includes completing fuel quality checks, conducting vehicle inspections, and making sure all required reporting and compliance records are kept up to date. It is a 38-hour week in a hands-on role that supports a good work-life balance. Shifts are:
Day: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Afternoon: 12:00pm - 8:00pm (with 20% loading)

• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
