Job summary

WorkPac is seeking Welders for a Tamworth location to join the team manufacturing reinforced concrete pipes. The role requires MIG welding, following fixed manufacturing processes, and assisting with a variety of precast concrete products.

Candidates should be reliable, safety-focused and able to work 4am starts from Monday to Friday, using drills and grinders and maintaining a clean work area. White Card holder preferred; experience reading reinforcement designs is a plus.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in steel fixing.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings or reinforcement designs.
• Demonstrated focus on safety of themselves and colleagues.

About the Client

WorkPac are seeking Production Operators & Steel Fixing to join our clients production plant in Tamworth, our client who is a leading manufacturer of reinforced concrete pipes based in Tamworth area, must be willing and able to commence as early as 4am & work Monday through to Friday.

What you will be doing.

• MIG Welding (Steel Fixing)
• Ability to follow repeated manufacture processes under instruction
• Assisting with manufacturing a diverse range of pre cast concrete products
• Use of a general range of tools such as drills, grinders etc.
• Able to maintain a high level of housekeeping in their work area

What you will need

• Previous experience MIG Welding (Steel Fixing)
• Interpret manufacturing process (Steel Fixing)
• Right to work in Australia
• White Card
• Must be reliable and keen to learnli>
• Demonstrated focus on safety of themselves and workmates
• Must have a good knowledge of how to use a general range of tools - drill, grinder, etc.
• The ability to read product and reinforcement designs is preferred however not mandatory.
• Must be a team player, yet also have the ability to work independently.
