Full time
29d ago , from News Corp Australia - Contract Positions
We’re launching The Talent Lab at News Corp Australia, representing a pivot in our business to personality-led promotion and amplification of news content. We believe that audiences bond with people, not just stories, and we are on a mission to turn our journalists into Australia’s most recognisable and trusted news sources.
We’re on the hunt for a visionary Talent & PR Manager to join our tight-knit and nimble team - someone with a social-first creator mindset, arriving with a deep understanding of digital community building and creator culture. You will understand how consistency on camera drives trust better than a polished, static media release.
If you understand creator culture, have a killer media contact book, and know how to coax brilliant storytellers out of their shells, this is the role for you.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building the foundations of News Corp’s Talent Lab, forging new ground in the way our team strategically responds to campaign briefs, helping journalists break the fourth wall and delivering the hands-on coaching, media training, and archetype development required to drive consumer revenue growth.
This enterprise-wide role amplifies the journalists and journalism of major News Australia brands including The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Advertiser and The Courier-Mail, news.com.au, The Australian, Vogue Australia, Glamour Australia, GQ Australia, among others, and sub-brands including SuperCoach and CODE Sports.
Join a culture where innovation is our operating rhythm. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of Australia’s most loved brands and play a pivotal role in leading the technological shift in how we create commercial content. Our vibrant, hybrid work environment and dynamic, values-driven culture empowers you to push boundaries, collaborate as one unified team, and make a positive, measurable impact for all Australians.
