Job summary

Little Zak's Academy is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Ryde-based Support Office. This full-time, office-based role partners with operational leaders to attract, engage and hire exceptional talent across our network of centres.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for early childhood roles, delivering a high-quality candidate experience and ensuring compliance throughout onboarding.

• End-to-end Talent Acquisition experience, or agency recruitment background.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across early childhood roles.
• Partner with Operations and hiring managers on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates via SEEK, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and proactive talent pipelines.
• Conduct structured screening interviews to assess experience, qualifications, working rights and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews and provide recruitment guidance to hiring managers.
• Negotiate offers and prepare candidates for onboarding.
• Verify qualifications, working rights and mandatory compliance documentation.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks (Working with Children Checks, Police Checks, reference checks).
• Prepare employment contracts and ensure compliance requirements are met before commencement.
• Build and maintain talent pools to support new centre openings and growth.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the journey.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in compliance with employment laws and child-safety requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Support Office in Ryde. This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment role where you will partner with operational leaders to attract, engage and hire exceptional talent across our network of centres.

About the Role

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of early childhood positions. Working closely with hiring managers, you will provide expert recruitment advice while delivering an exceptional candidate experience from application through to onboarding.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of early childhood roles.
• Partnering with Operations and hiring managers on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.

About you

You are an organised and proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition or agency recruitment.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
• Knowledge of recruitment compliance and employment documentation.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, with JobAdder experience highly regarded.
• Recruitment experience within early childhood education, education, healthcare or another high-volume industry will be highly regarded.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
