Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network in Tailem Bend invites applicants for a casual Hotel Services Assistant role to support care and comfort. You will contribute to food preparation, service and delivery while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment through housekeeping and laundry duties.

Ideal candidates show teamwork, reliability, and basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry, with knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of Year 11 and a current First Aid certificate (desirable)
• Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry and basic computer use preferred
• Understanding of workplace safety, food safety and infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and serve meals and support food delivery in the health unit
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment through housekeeping and laundry duties

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry duties
• Understanding of workplace safety, food safety, and infection control practices
• Strong organisational skills, confidentiality, and basic computer proficiency
